Selection for the positions of three independent members for the Supervisory Board of the "Defense Procurement Agency" under the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has begun. The opportunity to participate in the competition lasts until May 24, 2024. We invite specialists with an impeccable reputation and a desire to make a significant contribution to the effectiveness of acquisition for the Armed Forces of Ukraine to apply.
The Defense Procurement Agency is responsible for all centralized procurement of weapons, ammunition and military equipment for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This became part of the creation of a new architecture of defense procurement based on NATO standards, where the Ministry of Defense is responsible for policy development and quality control only, and an independent Agency deals with the procurement and supply of weapons and equipment directly.
The Defense Procurement Agency is currently undergoing a major transformation to change the rules of lethal acquisition and strengthen the Armed Forces' battlefield capabilities. The launch of the Supervisory Board will ensure the Agency's institutional resilience, modern corporate governance and independent control over its work.
The members of the Supervisory Board will be responsible for the development and control of the implementation of the Agency's strategy, the building of corporate governance, the management control and coordination of interests, and ensuring the necessary level of transparency in the work of the Agency etc.
A full list of requirements for candidates can be found in the announcement. These include at least 5 years of experience in management positions, an impeccable business reputation, practical high-level negotiation skills, successful training or change management experience, etc.
To apply, send the required list of documents in Ukrainian and/or English to [email protected] by 18:00 (Kyiv time) on May 24.
