The Defense Procurement Agency of the Ministry of Defense has purchased drones for over UAH 1 billion
The Defense Procurement Agency of the Ministry of Defense has signed new contracts for the purchase of 4,200 DJI Mavic 3E UAVs with additional equipment.
Together with previous procurements, the total number of DJI Mavic UAVs contracted by the Agency is now 8200 (7200 DJI Mavic 3E and 1000 DJI Mavic 3T).
The total value of the contracts is UAH 1,1 billion.
In modern warfare, drones have become an indispensable element of combat. They strengthen our defense capabilities by increasing the efficiency of military operations. Therefore, procurement of drones is one of the main tasks of the Ministry of Defense. Our military must be provided with everything they need in time to be able to respond to any threats from the enemy

According to the results of the Prozorro auctions, the average price per UAV was:
- DJI Mavic 3E with three additional batteries and a charger — UAH 126,3 thousand;
- DJI Mavic 3T with three additional batteries and a charger — UAH 194,2 thousand.
We managed to save more than UAH 65 million from the expected cost on these procurements alone. And this is despite the fact that we work on a postpaid basis to ensure maximum security of supply. For us, this is an opportunity to purchase even more drones for the military, which are critically important at the front

In addition, as of 20 May, the Defense Procurement Agency has already held successful auctions for an additional 4,000 DJI Mavic 3E and 1,500 DJI Mavic 3T UAVs, where contracts are expected to be signed.
