The Danish Minister of Defence Confirmed the Strengthening of Cooperation with the DPA under the Danish Model

A delegation from the Kingdom of Denmark, led by Minister of Defence Troels Lund Poulsen, held a meeting with Ukraine's Minister of Defence Rustem Umerov and Acting Head of the Defence Procurement Agency (DPA) Arsen Zhumadilov. The discussions focused on further cooperation to enhance Ukraine’s defence capabilities, particularly the development and scaling of the Danish model.
This model provides for the procurement and repair of military equipment and weaponry for the Armed Forces of Ukraine using funds from allied nations. In 2024, financing under this model was directed toward contracts of the Department of Military-Technical Policy of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine (DMTP) and the DPA.
Starting in 2025, the majority of funds will be allocated to DPA contracts. Additionally, the planned supplementary assistance from participating countries under the "Danish model" will amount to €1.5 billion.
We sincerely appreciate the people of Denmark and the Danish Minister of Defence for their trust and unwavering support of Ukraine in its resistance against the enemy.
