Representatives of the Defense Procurement Agency met with a delegation from the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration

Representatives of the Defense Procurement Agency (DPA) met with a delegation from the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) headed by Brigadier General Johan Axelsson.

The agencies coordinated cooperation on naval armament procurement and discussed ongoing contracts. Both parties paid particular attention to developing direct contracting with Swedish manufacturers and provision of maintenance services for Swedish-made equipment already delivered to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The procurement agencies also agreed upon financing mechanisms for Ukrainian arms manufacturers under the "Danish model", including for long-range weapons.

The close partnership of DPA with FMV and Swedish companies is the outcome of long-term work on strengthening international cooperation.
