Frontline Units to Receive Additional Electronic Warfare Equipment via DOT-Chain Defence

Electronic warfare (EW) systems are now available through the DOT-Chain Defence weapons marketplace. This means 180 brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, along with the National Guard, have been given guaranteed budgets to choose and order both stationary and trench EW systems.

The urgency of these systems is reflected in immediate demand: within the first 24 hours of EW equipment being added to DOT-Chain Defence, units placed orders worth nearly ₴6 million.

With enemy drones posing an increasingly serious threat, it’s essential that brigades have the autonomy to choose the right countermeasures,” said Arsen Zhumadilov, Director of the Defence Procurement Agency. “The enemy constantly shifts frequencies and adapts its technology, so speed is critical. DOT-Chain Defence allows units to select, order, receive, and deploy the right EW systems within tight operational timelines.”

Earlier, the Defence Procurement Agency signed contracts with manufacturers to supply trench EW systems under the ‘Army of Drones Bonus’ program — an incentive-based initiative that rewards units with operational funding for eliminating enemy targets.

The DOT-Chain Defence weapons marketplace was developed by the State Operator for Non-Lethal Acquisition (DOT) and is now being used to ensure timely delivery of weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The system brings brigades, manufacturers, and the Defence Procurement Agency (DPA) into a single secure environment. This setup allows units to choose the specific nomenclature items they need, while DPA handles all administrative tasks — from contract signing to payment. For the soldier, getting the required equipment takes just a few clicks.

DOT-Chain Defence operates alongside other supply programs and serves as an additional channel for delivering drones.
